Meditation experiences

Meditation experiences are not only difficult to put into words, but experiences are much more than what is interpreted through words. In other words, meditation needs to be experienced directly and just listening to other's meditation experiences is not sufficient to have a true perspective on meditation. There are a variety of meditations and one of these may work for you while others may not. Meditation depends on many factors like state of mind, food habits, place of meditation, and also pre-conceived notions about meditation practices. Every experience is unique and need not be the same when you sit each time for your meditation. Sit in meditation without any expectations; otherwise, you cannot attain deep meditative state. Meditation experiences are a way to encourage you to be a regular mediator. You will notice that deep meditation happens to disciplined practitioners in their practice and follow ayurvedic ways of eating, sleeping and working. Our monkey minds tire us much more than physical activities. We often say, “Oh! I feel tired already. Yet so much work is pending to be done in a short time.” Some may feel they have not experienced the way many share their meditation experiences. Do not compare, as each is unique as per their physical, mental and emotional state. Meditation experiences are beautiful to know as they fill you with happiness, wonder and bliss.
